Oh, and when you read "the summer" you should think "the period of time between now and July 3rd, both dates inclusive, because Patrice hasn't been very productive with her first few weeks of summer, doesn't want to do anything on July 4th or on her car ride to Washington state, knows nothing will happen right before surgery, and wants to give herself relaxed recovery time."
Anyway, here are my goals for the summer:
- Post teacher quotes somewhere.
- Organize my bedroom, especially the papers from this school year.
- Put on plays with my siblings.
- Organize all my pictures (there are 10,221).
- Scrapbook all the papers I haven't gotten around to putting in some notebook/scrapbook, which is probably more permanent and organized than an old, broken American Girl box in my closet and an open space below a dresser.
- Download my movie projects from my hard drive onto this computer, and edit them.
- Make a movie of the pictures from our trip to Brasil.
- Organize all my documents.
- Dump the 90% of college e-mails I don't really need (and keep the ones for colleges I care about).
- Delete the "friend lists" (no, not the friends, the lists) that were specifically based on this year's classes.
- My summer reading: I have a book of WWI British Poets, Pride & Prejudice, and eight chapters of my history textbook (American Pageant, 14th edition).
- Write the play I'll be performing with my cousins this Christmas.
- Go through my huge quotes document.
- Add to my huge book list.
- Fill out lyrics for all the songs on my itunes (1,053).
Yep. It'll be a miracle if I manage all this.
